The best way to cure concrete is to wet-cure’ it - you can achieve this by placing wet towels or plastic sheets over the concrete. Concrete cures without shrinking and this helps to build its strength and allows it to resist shrinkage forces better when it dries out. Wet-curing results in efflorescence marks on the concrete, though.
